Welcome to Sophear Riem Foundation!

In 2007 Saren and Sontheavy Riem established The Sophear Riem Foundation as a way to honor the memory of their youngest child, Sophear Riem. Sophear passed on November 4th, 2007 at the tender age of 20. At such a young age, he understood that there was much pain and suffering in the world. That was something he always wanted to help fix. He lived for his music, family and friends, as well as the hope that one day he would better not only his community but the world at large with his passion and understanding.

The Sophear Riem Foundation was created to help support change in a better direction for today’s youth and the world at large. The Foundation will be reaching out to communities near and far to help a wide range of educational, humanitarian and environmental causes and projects. The Foundation plans on working with many different types of groups and charities to help promote stronger and safer communities for young adolescents to thrive in, thus ensuring a better world for us all.
